Dr. M.A. Shah Joined P.G Department of Physics National Institute of Technology Srinagar (NIT Srinagar) in September 1999 had his doctorial degree in Condensed Matter Physics/Materials Sciences from Jamia Millia Islamia, (Central University) New Delhi. Dr. Shah had a chance to establish World Bank Funded Laboratory at NIT Srinagar, before taking up teaching assignment at King Abdul Aziz University Jeddah (KSA). After having three enriching research and teaching experience in KSA, he rejoined host institution in June 2011. During his academic career within India and outside, he has published as many as 100 SCI research articles, covering the contemporary developments of Nanotechnology. In addition, he has authored two textbooks on Nanoscience with reputed international publishers, besides edited three books on different aspects of Nanotechnology. Dr. Shah had a honour to work with prominent scientists of India like Prof. C.N. Rao and was honoured on many occasions for his dedicated work. He has been awarded a mega project by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) New Delhi in year 2015 for developing a start of the art laboratory at NIT Srinagar, besides receiving Rs. 100.00 Lakhs from World Bank for commissioning Scanning Electron Microscopy. Dr. Shah has honour to be the brain behind this initiative.
