Dr. Ashutosh Tiwari, Editor-in-Chief of Advanced Materials Letters; Director at Institute of Advanced Materials; Secretary General of the International Association of Advanced Materials. He also has several honorary professor titles since 2009. Dr. Tiwari has been actively involved in the translational research especially innovation and technology for smart devices, which have emerged as a versatile platform for building state-of-the-art technological systems to handle key challenges in medical, security, energy supply and environmental issues realized by the integration of artificial intelligence and smart strategies.
After completing his doctorate degree from Allahabad University, Ashutosh joined as a young scientist at National Physical Laboratory, India and later on moved to the University of Wisconsin, USA for the postdoctoral research. Dr. Tiwari has been awarded various prestigious fellowships including Marie Curie, The European Commission; JSPS Regular and Bridge Fellow, NIMS Postdoctoral Fellow, Japan; SI, Sweden; INSA, CSIR and DST, India. He is also the recipient of several recognitions and awards for his notable contributions to the advanced materials, nanoscience, and nanotechnology.
Dr. Tiwari has published around 200 articles and has edited/ authored around 50 books on the advanced materials and nanotechnology. He is the Guest Editor of the Special issue 2D Materials in Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Elsevier; Series Editor of the Advanced Materials Series published by Scrivener Publishing and Advanced Nanomaterials Series, published by Elsevier. He is a founder member and co-chair of Advanced Materials Congress, Baltic Conference Series, World Technology Summit and World Congress Series. He acts as an Executive Chair of “Knowledge Experience at Sea”, organized in the Europe, Asia and USA with annual participation of over 2000+ delegates from 100+ countries.
Dr. Tiwari serves as a scientific evaluator, member of experts in several panels and committees to various governmental and non-governmental agencies; member of PhD committee, and has been invited for 100+ plenary, keynote and invited lectures in the international conferences. Currently, Dr. Tiwari is involved mainly on the technological developments of the range of nanotechnology-enabled new tools, technological breakthroughs, key process, new products designed to transform the energy, IT automation, security, and mass medicines including diagnostics, smart medicines and self-powered devices.
